The work emerges from simple observations and is often made by transforming or re-presenting found items or commonplace objects. It has become a sort of interpretive diary about time and place that has resulted in a series of mementoes, relics and souvenirs. Many pieces could be described as objects of folly. It is all united by themes of creation and loss – the fact that everything is temporary, to a greater or lesser degree.
